Bury Hospice

The recently completed £5m facility will help people with serious illnesses and provide practical and emotional support to their relatives. The new site, on what was formerly St Bede’s Church, has 12 fully-equipped, en-suite in-patient rooms and newly landscaped gardens. It replaces the outdated facility in Dumers Lane, Radcliffe.

The company was involved at every stage of the design process, carrying out Tree Surveys, Arboricultural Reports, Landscape Appraisal, Landscape Masterplans, Planting Plans, BREEAM Healthcare Calculations and Post Construction Inspections.

As part of the many fundraising activities to fund the new hospice, Appletons bought a 'foot' of the hospice as well as attending charity auctions and dinners.
