Appletons are looking for a Chartered or Graduate Landscape Architect with experience of leading projects across a range of sectors including residential development, nature conservation, master planning, landscape planning including visual impact assessments, design and build work as part of multidisciplinary teams and health care schemes.
Candidates require strong technical design and verbal communication skills with a background in report writing and administration of small contracts. You need to have a good knowledge of AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and InDesign. Ideally you should have 2 years experience but not essential. UK driving licence is essential.
You should have the ability to work in a fast paced but friendly team with a positive attitude and resourcefulness. There will be opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills in a supportive environment.

Appletons are looking for seasonal ecologists to join our spring / summer survey team. The survey work may include Bat Surveys, Reptile Surveys and Great Crested Newt Surveys. Experience of undertaking protected species surveys preferred but not essential. The role would suit students working towards a relevant ecology degree or a graduate looking to gain more experience. Ideally surveyors will have thier own transport but this is not essential if local to Bolton. Pay for each survey is a very competitive hourly rate.
